Funeral Costs

In accordance with current Victorian requirements regarding disclosure of mortuary locations, transfer arrangements, cemeteries and crematoria, we provide the following information for complete transparency and peace of mind.

At Michael Crawford Funerals, all transfers are carried out personally by our own staff. Your loved one is collected and transported by Michael Crawford Funerals team members using our own dedicated transfer vehicles we do not outsource transfers to third parties.

All persons in our care are transported directly to our own mortuary facility, located at:

226 Main Street, Bacchus Marsh, Victoria

This is our private mortuary facility, operated by Michael Crawford Funerals Pty Ltd.

We work with all cemeteries and crematoria throughout Victoria & Australia to provide families with complete choice of location.

It is important for families to understand that:

• All cemeteries and crematoria in Victoria are government owned and operated.

• Victorian funeral directors cannot privately own cemeteries or crematoriums.

• As these facilities are government managed, funeral directors have no control over their pricing, scheduling, timelines, or operational procedures.

While we guide families through every step of the process, pricing and availability at cemeteries and crematoria are determined solely by the relevant government authority.
