Our History
Michael’s father Charles Crawford began the journey by building a Chapel and Offices in Melton. Further expanding to Bacchus Marsh and finally Geelong. We have been privileged to serve and honour families and their loved ones for over 35 years. Having operated in our communities since 1987, Michael Crawford Funerals has gained the knowledge, experience, and values necessary to conduct meaningful and memorable life celebrations.
Michael & Theresa Crawford have operated their business in the Main Street of Bacchus Marsh since 1988. In 2004, they expanded by building the Chapel & Complex in the Main Street of Bacchus Marsh where we currently are located. Michael & Theresa have since made our Funeral Home a reputable and respected business within the Moorabool Shire. This has encouraged their children to join the team and continue to provide excellent service within our growing community. The staff at Michael Crawford Funerals now consists of Michael, Theresa, their four sons and daughters, alongside other experienced personnel who are also highly regarded in our community.
