He was a genuinely good man who was deeply loved by so many. He demonstrated humanity, empathy, wisdom, generosity and boundless love through his actions, both big and small, leaving a lasting impact on everyone fortunate enough to know him. 

Our sincere and heartfelt gratitude to the wonderful, caring people at Mecwacare Susan Barton House where he spent his last months. Thanks also to Craig Carden and Russell Pearce, and the healthcare team at St John of God Ballarat for their compassionate and skilled care. 

We’re having a private cremation with no fuss or ceremony, as Barrie wanted
